Hi there! I'm a PhD candidate in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Pennsylvania.
My research interests are at the interface of sociolinguistics and psycholinguistics.
In my dissertation, I use experimental methods to probe the influence of grammatical, social
and cognitive factors on the perception and production of language variation.
At Penn, I am primarily affiliated with the Language Variation and Cognition Lab,
and
my advisor is Meredith Tamminga.
I also work with Dave Embick at
the Embick lab, and Gareth Roberts at the Cultural
Evolution of Language Lab.
I’m also part of the Language and Communication Sciences initiative
at Penn.
Before coming to Penn, I earned my Bachelor's degrees in English and International Politics
at Shandong University, and my MA in Foreign Languages
and Literatures at
Shanghai Jiao Tong
University.
